What is hair botox

Hair botox is an intensive restorative treatment where a keratin, amino-acid and vitamin compound fills damaged hair sections. Despite the name there are no injections — the compound is brushed on, heat-sealed and rinsed. Result: smoothness, shine and elasticity for 2–4 months. Good for damaged, color-treated and dull hair; not ideal for very fine or weakened hair as it can weigh strands down. Average price in Kazakhstan: 8 000–20 000 ₸ per session. Results are visible after the first session. To extend them, masters recommend a sulfate-free shampoo and avoiding very hot styling tools.
